This email came from a fellow bunny lover. I’ve added my 2 cents below. Please add your voice. Thanks.
Target is running a new television commercial in which a very, very young child dumps a live baby rabbit into a handbag ~ then proceeds to dump an entire box of Goldfish Crackers on top of the rabbit.
I sent an email to Target Corporation strongly protesting this commercial and the animal abuse it portrays and can only help spread. It is also my intention to send ‘snail mail’ protests to the following:
1. Gregg Steinhafel ~ Chairman, President, & Chief Operating Officer
2. Executive Vice President – Marketing
3. Senior Vice President – Marketing
4. Vice President – Community RelationsThe address for Target Corporation Principal Executive Offices is ~
Target Corporation

(612) 304-6073I hope many of you will also protest this horrible television commercial.

This is the msg I just sent. Makes my blood boil…
Hello.
I represent a rabbit rescue organization in Los Angeles. This email is
regarding your new TV commercial depicting a a very, very young child dumping a live baby rabbit into a handbag then dumping an entire box of crackers on top of the rabbit.
Your advertising agency may have found this ‘cute’ but to the millions of people in the US who have house rabbits, it is just another vision of cruelty and neglect. This is not how we want the public to treat our animals.
Please take this off the air immediately. RabbitMatch.org will be sending this out to our mailing list and all rabbit organizations we cooperate with across the country.
Until now I have used gift cards from Target exclusively for holidays,
birthdays, etc. Until the ad is pulled I will not be purchasing anything at Target.
Thank you for your sensitive attention to this matter.

For every rabbit bought from a breeder or pet store, one in a shelter dies.
Give a bun the gift of life. Make adoption your option.
