A week or two ago, House Rabbit Society asked all of us rabbit peeps to contact a company about their holiday ad.  HRS was concerned about the implication that rabbits are easy starter pets or good children's gifts during the holidays.  Arrugh.  But ——-

—–  Lisa Hoerth, Consumer Care Specialist, from the company that owns Kaytee and SuperPets, writes that due to customer concern, they pulled the ad.  (pdf is attached)

Thanks to everyone who wrote or called.  We made a difference for buns!  Yay us!

If you can, please let Lisa H know we appreciate their listening and responding to our concerns.
